Spring is just around the corner and so is the 2010 garden season in the Gardens of GraceWorks. We have several returning gardeners who have already reserved their bed and are getting their planting plans ready for another year in the Gardens of GraceWorks.

Hury, Hurry, Hurry . . . If you are interested in reserving your full bed or half bed for 2010, contact any of the committee listed below for more information. We will be advertising outside of our congregation to fill any open garden beds in the next week or so, and would like to accommodate our church families that are interested first.

The Gardens of Graceworks is a community garden located at GraceWorks Church  at 6445 Lee Highway in Chattanooga. The gardens provide an opportunity for gardeners to grow food crops for their own use or to share with the community. Plots have been designated for the youth to provide vegetables for the Chattanooga Food Bank “Grow a Row for the Hungry” and another as a butterfly garden for the children to tend and learn about the value of our pollinating insects.

The Gardens are striving to be financially independent and to eventually be a source of income to assist members of GraceWorks Church and the community at large needing temporary relief in trying times.
